3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vii) / Cyanuric acid is tested weekly
Repeat Cyanuric acid was not tested weekly. A recording of 300 ppm was written in the space for cyanuric acid.
Test for cyanuric acid level at least once/week. CHECK TESTING PROCEDURE FOR CYANURIC ACID. RECORD FINDING ON THE LOG SHEET. ANY READING OVER 70 PPM SHOULD PROMPT CORRECTIVE ACTION. Correct By: 04-Aug-2021
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(c) / Cross connection hazards shall be prevented.
Repeat Cross connection hazards were present. An ASSE 1015 backflow preventer is install on the water main to the pool.
Remove all cross connection hazards from the pool area. INSTALL AN ASSE 1013 BACKFLOW PREVENTER ON THE LINE THAT DIRECTLY FILLS THE POOL.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Repeat Required turnover rates were not met.
Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reasons have been determined have the issue repaired. If necessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve. INCREASE THE FLOW RATE TO BETWEEN 76 GPM AND 98 GPM
3701-31-04 (D)(05) / Cyanuric acid level shall not exceed 70 ppm.
Repeat Cyanuric acid level exceeded 70 ppm
Drain the pool at least halfway and fill with clean water. Monitor the amount of cyanuric acid being used and adjust accordingly. REDUCE CYA.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(b) / "Children must be supervised" or "Swimming alone is not recommended" signs posted
Repeat The unguarded pool was in use without the "Children must be supervised" and/or "Swimming alone is not recommended" signs posted.
Post the "Swimming Alone is Not Recommended" signs at all times the pool is available for use.
