Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 11-July-2016

Comments
*Pool is unsafe to operate due to high algal bloom prohibiting visibility to the bottom of the pool and the inability to accurately and consistently maintain pool chemistry. Maintenance supervisor closed the pool on Friday and stated that closed signs were posted. Sometime after that point signs were removed and were not present at time of inspection at approximately 11am on Monday. Poor visibility would not allow individuals to observed a victim at the bottom of the pool and improper water chemistry can lead to outbreak of water borne diseases. This pool must remain closed until such time visibility and water chemistry is re-established. A reinspection will take place one week from today unless a call is made for a sooner inspection. Per conversation with the maintenance supervisor he expressed a good working knowledge of pool operation. If per his discretion the pool is closed it must remain closed until such time deemed ready to open.
