| Ensure the Automatic Chemical Controller flow switch/pump interlock is tested monthly and recorded on the weekly log sheets. The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover is available in the guard office. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Waterway 640-472xV) were installed 4/9/2019. The covers have a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 4/9/2026. These drain covers have a maximum flow rating of 356 gpm. When replacing the covers, ensure that the new covers' flow rating will not be exceeded. 450 gpm. Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals. The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately and is aware of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions. |
