| Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals. Ensure water testing is done twice a day if the pool is open from 8AM to 10PM. The operator appears to be maintaining complete records on file: water quality information, chemicals added, injuries, fecal accidents, and ACC test results. Records were available for review dating back two years. The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately and is aware of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions. The operator was observed performing test and is knowledgeable of the Automatic Chemical Controller function. The operator is aware of the critical operation items and reportedly would close the pool when an imminent health hazard is present. |
