| -Ensure there is access to ALL records regarding the pool at the time of inspection. This includes any testing of the Automatic Chemical Controllers or any incidents reported. When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm Since there are no records available for the main drain covers, they are to be replaced before the start of next season. Keep the certificates of compliance on file with the model numbers and installation date recorded. This will be reviewed at the first inspection next season. |
