3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c) / Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Critical Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation. THIS IS A CRITICAL OPERATIONAL ITEM AND POSES AN IMMINENT HEATH HAZARD. DO NOT OPEN POOL UNTIL FREE CHLORINE LEVEL IS AT LEAST 1 PPM. OPERATOR STARTED ADJUSTING CHLORINE LEVEL AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. Correct By: 02-Jun-2022
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h) / Required meters and gauges maintained/functional

Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 02-June-2022

Comments
When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover(s) is/are available in the equipment room. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Hayward WG1048E) were installed 5/15/2018. The covers have a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 5/15/2025

The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately and is aware of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions.
