Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 13-July-2020

Comments
-When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

-Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

-The Certificate of Compliance was not available for the main drain cover. One was supplied to operator at the time of inspection. Keep a copy at the facility for future review.

-Our records show that the main drain suction outlet cover (Hayward WG1048E) was installed 6/28/2017. The cover has a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 6/28/2024.
