Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. -Observed disinfection testing had not been accomplished at time of inspection.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Test kit reagents were not fresh or stored properly. Test kit on-site is expired.
Obtain fresh reagents and store them properly.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(i) / 12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole with shepherd's crook is provided
12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole with shepherd's crook was not provided at the unguarded pool. Shephard's could not be found. Found Shephard's hook in rocky area east of pool.
Provide a 12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole in the pool area at all times. Shephard's hook should be visible and easily accesible in the event of a drowning. Recommend Shephard's hook be placed on hooks within reach of interior pool deck.

Emergency device (telephone) was not working.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities.
