Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 08-June-2021

Comments
A SCREW IS POSSIBLY MISSING FROM ONE SIDE OF THE MAIN DRAIN COVER. IF THE SCREW IS MISSING INSTALL ONE.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

The Certificate of Compliance is not available for the main drain cover. One was supplied to operator at the time of inspection. Keep a copy at the facility for future review. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet cover (Waterway 640-472xV) was installed 7/1/2018. The cover has a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 7/1/2025.

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.
