Critical Observed incorrect storage of chemical in pump/chemical room.
Organized chemical storage room and eliminate chemicals that could potenitally cause an imminent health hazard.
3701-31-04 (B)(4) / The licensee /authorized representative is keeping records
The licensee /authorized representative was not keeping or maintaining operational records. During the time of my inspection, no records of chemical testing were availble for review.
All facility records must be maintained and available for review upon request.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(r) / Safety line(s) are maintained
Safety line(s) were not maintained in place.
Safety lines must be in place when required to alert the bathers of the change in depth of the pool.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(s) / Perimeter barrier is in good repair to prevent unauthorized entry
Observed main entrance gate unsecure. Magnetic system is not keeping gate locked and secure.
Call technician and or repair magnetic locking mechanism to secure pool entrance to prevent unauthorized entry and potential drowning.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(y) / Chemicals are properly stored/used
Critical Chemical containers were stored without labels identifying the contents. No label was found on disinfection container.
Label and properly store all chemical containers to avoid a chemical reaction or unnecessary exposure. Put a label on both disinfection containers and or permanently write on container of the contents.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii) / A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line provided
A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. Floatation device is not USCG Type IV
Provide a proper floatation device at all times. Recommend providig two USCG Type IV personal floatation devices for this size of pool.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(b)(ii) / A back/spine board with straps and head immobilizers
A back/spine board with straps and head immobilizers was not provided at the guarded pool. Observed back/spine board without straps.
Provide a back/spine board with straps and a head immobilizer at the pool at all times. Provide straps for back/spine board.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(d) / First aid kit provided
First aid equipment was not provided. First aid kit missing essential items. Band aids
Provide first aid equipment, including a first aid kit, at the pool at all times.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(a) / "WARNING, NO LIFEGUARD", sign posted
Repeat The unguarded pool was in use without the "WARNING, NO LIFEGUARD" sign posted. Observed one "warning, no lifeguard" sign at time of inspection.
Post the WARNING, NO LIFEGUARD sign in a conspicuos location at all times the pool is available for use. Warning signs shall be placed around pool perimeter in various conspicuous locatons alerting swimmers of the hazards of swimming in pool without a lifequard on duty.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(b) / "Children must be supervised" or "Swimming alone is not recommended" signs posted
Repeat The unguarded pool was in use without the "Children must be supervised" and/or "Swimming alone is not recommended" signs posted. Observed one sign at time of inspection.
Post the "Children must be supervised" and/or "Swimming Alone is Not Recommended" signs at all times the pool is available for use. "Children must be Supervised" signs must be placed around the perimeter of the pool in conspicuous locations.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(d) / "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign(s) posted-when the pool is closed
The pool was closed but the "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign(s) were not posted.
Post the "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign at all times the pool is not available for use.
