[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. -Observed the chlorine was being tested twice per day, but it was with more than a 4 hour interval. TEST THE DISINFECTION RESIDUAL BEFORE BATHERS ENTER WATER AND EVERY 4 HOURS THE POOL IS OPEN.

3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use. -Observed the combined chorine is test twice per day, but with more than a 4 hour interval. -TEST THE COMBINED CHLORINE BEFORE BATHERS ENTER WATER AND EVERY 4 HOURS THE POOL IS OPEN.

3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii) / pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. -Observed the pH is teseted twice daily, but with more than a 4 hour interval. -TEST THE pH BEFORE BATHERS ENTER WATER AND EVERY 4 HOURS THE POOL IS OPEN.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Required turnover rates were not met. -Observed the flow rate was below the required level of 84gmp to achieve a turnover rate of 480 minutes. -To achieve a proper flow rate and filtration, adjust the flow of the system to ensure the flow rate is between 84-140gmp.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(t) / Equipment/chemical/storage areas are free of hazards/accessible only to authorized personnel.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Equipment/chemical/storage areas were not secured. -Observed the equipment and chemcial room was open to the pool area at the time of inspection. -The operators closed and locked the equipment room at the end of the inspection. KEEP THE EQUIPMENT AND CHEMICAL ROOM SECURED WHEN NOT IN USE.
These storage areas must be kept inaccessible to everyone but authorized personnel. Secure the areas.

Comments
The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain covers is available in the equipment room. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet cover (Hayward WG1048E2) was installed in June 2022. The cover has a 7 yr life span and must be replaced by June 2029.
The operator was given tips on water testing to improve the accuracy of the results. Acceptable water chemistry and necessary corrective actions were reviewed.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm
