*Pool alkalinity (46) is lower than the required minimum of 60ppm. Add approximately 1 pound sodium bicarbonate to elevate alkalinity to the 70-80ppm range. *Pool cyanuric acid (84ppm) is above the required 70 ppm or less. Dilution is the only way to remove cyanuric acid. If 1/2 the volume of the pool is emptied, then cyanuric acid levels should fall into the 40ppm range. *Pool Free and Total Chlorine were to high to read by my digital test kit with a range of 10+ppm for detection range. There is no set high level range indicated in code for chlorine, however it would be more desirable to be in the 3-5ppm range to avoid irritating sensitive bathers skin, especially young children that frequent this pool. |
