[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c) / Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Critical Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation. THIS IS A CRITICAL OPERATIONAL ITEM AND POSES AN IMMINENT HEALTH HAZARD. THE OPERATOR CLOSED THE POOL AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION AND CALLED HIS SUPERVISOR FOR DIRECTION. DO NOT OPERATE THE POOL UNTIL THE FREE CHLORINE LEVEL IS AT LEAST 1 PPM. Correct By: 08-Jun-2023
3701-31-04 (B)(3) / Staff is trained and knowledgeable
Staff was not trained or knowledgeable in pool operations. Life guards did not know the required free chlorine level.
Train staff in pool operations, operation of equipment, chemical storage, use and handling and appropriate emergency procedures. STAFF RESPONSIBLE FOR TESTING THE CHEMICAL LEVELS OF THE POOL MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE CRITICAL OPERATIONAL ITEMS. Correct By: 08-Jun-2023
3701-31-04 (B)(4) / The licensee /authorized representative is keeping records
The licensee /authorized representative was not keeping or maintaining operational records.
All facility records must be maintained and available for review upon request. TEST AND RECORD ALKALINITY AND CYANURIC ACID WEEKLY. Correct By: 14-Jun-2023
3701-31-04 (B)(6) / Equipment is maintained per manufacturers specifications.
Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. Weirs in the skimmers not functioning properly.
All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. REPOSITION THE WEIRS IN THE SKIMMERS AND REDUCE THE WATER LEVEL. Correct By: 14-Jun-2023

Comments
Keep documentation of the ASSE 1013 backflow preventer’s annual inspection available at the pool facility for review by the health department.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

The Certificate of Compliance is not available for the main drain cover.
