Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover(s) is/are available in the equipment room. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (AquaStar 10ARCFR) were installed on 5-23-19. The covers have a 5 year life span and must be replaced before 5-23-24. These drain covers have a maximum flow rating is 170 gpm. When replacing the covers, ensure that the new covers' flow rating will not be exceeded. 180 gpm.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm
