3701-31-04 ( D )(6)(a) / ORP reading shall be 650 millivolts or greater.
Repeat ORP reading was below 650 mv
Have the ACC unit inspected to determined why the ORP is low.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c) / Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Critical Pool disinfection reading is .08 ppm, pool is now closed.
Increase chlorine feed to provide a minimum disinfection residual.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e) / Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
Critical Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection -ACC controller did not alarm when a NO FLOW test was implimented.
Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Required turnover rates were not met. -Observed flow rate at time of inspection at 90 gpm.
Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reasons have been determined have the issue repaired. If necessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(r) / Safety line(s) are maintained
Repeat Safety line(s) were not maintained in place.
Safety lines must be in place when required to alert the bathers of the change in depth of the pool. A safety line is required at depth change.
3701-31-04 (D)(09) / Chemicals shall not be manually added to pool when bathers present.
Chemicals were manually added to the pool when bathers were present. -Observed chlorine pucks in scupper baskets.
Stop adding chemicals to the pool when bathers are present.
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(d) / Flow or pressure switch with a shut off valve shall be provided and tested monthly.
Critical Flow or pressure switch for a shut off valve was not provided or the unit was not tested monthly
Have the ACC unit serviced or replaced with a unit that has a flow or pressure switch with an automatic shut off valve. Provide records indicating that the unit is being tested monthly.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above. Pool is CLOSED pending adjustments.
