Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. -Observed the bromine is tested twice a day, with an interval exceeding 4 hours. THE DISINFECTANT IS TO BE TESTED BEFORE OPENING AND AT LEAST EVERY 4 HOURS THAT THE POOL IS OPEN.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. Correct By: 23-Jun-2023

A back/spine board without a head immobilizer and straps was not provided at the unguarded pool. -Observed there was no spine board at the pool. OBTAIN A SPINE BOARD AND KEEP IT AT THE POOL AT ALL TIMES.

Comments
The Certificate of Compliance is not available for the main drain cover. Provide the documentation of installation of the main drain cover by the next standard inspection in July. This should include the installation date and life span of the drain cover
Observed test strips stored near the test kit with expired reagents. Do not use test strips to test the pool. Replace the expired reagents and test the water with the proper test kit.
CDC DOES NOT RECOMMEND BROMINE LEVELS HIGHER THAN 8 PPM. The operator noted during the inspection that the pool had recently been "shocked."
