| Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Waterway 640-472xV) were installed 5/12/2023. The covers have a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 5/12/2030. When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm. The operator is aware of the critical operation items and reportedly would close the pool when an imminent health hazard is present. Discussed not storing liquid chemicals over solid chemicals due to safety concerns from spillage or leaks. |
