Comments
The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests and is aware of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions. CAPS SHOULD BE USED ON THE TEST CELLS when mixing for the chlorine and pH tests. The total chlorine was NOT TESTED. TESTING MUST INCLUDE TESTS FOR FREE, COMBINE, AND TOTAL CHLORINE AS WELL AS ALKALINITY.

The operator was NOT observed performing tests for Safety Vacuum Release System function. To ensure proper testing the HD should observed the operator testing the SVRS.

It is recommended that the test kit for the indoor pool be a FAS DPD type kit. This type of test can measure combine chlorine at .2 ppm, where as the regular DPD test can only test to .5 ppm and only when the free chlorine is 1.5 ppm or lower.
