Food Facility Inspections

Medina County Health Department

Our Environmental Health staff inspects a variety of facilities in order to protect and promote public health in Medina County. As of now we will only be posting inspection reports for food facilities. The inspection reports posted on our website are from inspections conducted starting on March 1, 2023. This means there is not an online inspection report available for every facility at this time. However, we will continue posting the reports for each facility for inspections occurring after March 1, 2023.

Please keep in mind that any inspection report is a “snapshot” of observations recorded during the time the inspector was at the facility. On any given day, an establishment may have fewer or more violations than noted on the day of the report. Therefore, an inspection report may not be representative of the overall, long-term conditions within an establishment. It is also important to note that if a violation is cited at a particular operation, such violation is for that location only and not representative of all other operations owned or managed by the same parent company.  In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that complex facilities will always be free of violations. One measure of an operator’s responsiveness is the successful resolution or correction of violations on subsequent inspection reports.
