Repeat Required turnover rates were not met. (Flow rate needs to be at least 90 gpm, and was measured at 65 gpm). Operator was going to backwash soon, which might help.
Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reasons have been determined have the issue repaired. If necessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(s)
Gates or doors were not self-closing and/or lockable. The gate is lockable - but when open for visitors entrance / exiting, the gates do not self close and latch behind the user.
Repair gates or doors in order to be self-closing and lockable.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. With the pH being too high, please add some acid to the water to bring the pH down to the required range.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii)
A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. (ring device provided but line was missing)
Provide a proper floatation device at all times.
Comments
The rate of flow was below the required rate. Operator stated that he would be backwashing the pool soon, and that should help the flow rate.

The floatation device (ring) needed the 30 foot rope attached to it.

The gate(s) need to be provided with self-closing mechanisms.
