Comments
Lifeguard coverage was as follows: 1 guard stationed at 20 ft. slide (falls within Code requirement); 1 guard stationed to cover the zero depth entry (I suggested to locate this guard a little closer to that "ramp" entry area); 3 guards covering the remaining zones of the pool such that each guard can scan their zone within 20 seconds - to cover the complete pool surface and bottom - with a little overlap. Thank you!

There was 60 bathers at the time of inspection. We discussed the possibility of you having more bathers, and I said that the State guidelines for social distancing in pools did not get specific about how you calculate the maximum capacity. So, it seemed that there could be more bathers given the space that was available, but only if you so choose. During this time, each entity has to determine for themselves what their comfort level is on spacing. Initially, I threw out a figure of 110 sq. ft. per person - and advised pools to have 2 numbers: one for bathers in the pool and another for non-bathers inside the perimeter. It would be up to the pool management to determine how to rotate bathers into and out of the pool.

Other than the usual alkalinity issue, no violations observed today!
