3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii) A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. Provide a proper floatation device at all times - that is accessible to all patrons - without having to unlock a storage room. |

Please make sure you have the following safety items: spine board, ring buoy with rope, first aid kit. (I'm assuming there is a first aid kit in the restroom - I remember there being one in there in the past, but just make sure.) The ring buoy definitely needs to be out by the pool-side, similar to the shepherd's hook. Flow meter was not working properly.... It should be measuring a flow of at least 70 gpm. Sometimes the tube inside the meter gets particles in it and the bobber gets lodged. |
