3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) At the time of inspection, the emergency device was observed non functional. To ensure authorities are able to be contacted during an emergency, the emergency device shall be functional. Repair or replace. As a temporary fix, place a sign adjacent to device indicating device is nonfunctional, and post a sign or signs indicating the emergency telephone is located at the front desk. Then, ensure emergency telephone number(s) are posted at the front desk.
