Comments
After reviewing the following with the pool operator:

3701-31-04 (B) Observed the pool fiberglass wall section (that is about 24 foot long) bowing between 3-5 inches out into the pool from the east side. The operator stated that the wall has sand behind it and the support wire ties have likely snapped, causing the bowing.
There is a 4 inch damaged/cracked cement deck on top of the bowing area. See photos attached.

After consulting with the Ohio Department of Health and reviewing the Ohio Public Swimming Pool Rules, Miami County Public Health is stating that it is the responsibility of the licensee (Residence Inn) to maintain the pool in a safe condition. The licensee should close this
pool until an engineer verifies the structural integrity of the pool, and or approved repairs are done. Please note that the repairs must be submitted to the Ohio Department of Health for approval.

The pool operator has decide to close the pool, and will follow all the above statements.
