3701-31-04 (B)(1)(a) Critical At the time of inspection, the main drain cover was observed not secured. To prevent suction and entrapment hazards, the main drain cover shall be installed properly and secured. Upon making the PIC aware of this, the operator voluntarily ceased operation of the pool.

3701-31-04 (B)(6) At the time of inspection, the skimmers were observed without weirs. To ensure proper surface filtration, the skimmers shall be equipped with weirs. Install weirs.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(c)(ii) At the time of inspection, the backwash line and drain was observed without an air gap. Place a two to four inch air gap between the drain line and drain.

Comments

- At the time of inspection, all the water quality readings were within normal limits and safety equipment was present and in good condition. - At the time of inspection, the main drain cover was not secured (see violation). The operator voluntarily ceased operation of the pool. Contact the health department when the main drain cover is resecured. A reinspection will be conducted on or after 04/13/2022. - Inspection was conducted by not only Jason Dreier but also Carson Richardson.
