3701-31-04 (B)(6)(a)
The pool structure was cracked, in disrepair and/or leaking water. The bottom of the main pool (activity) was observed peeling paint in places.
Repair the pool structure to a water-tight system. If necessary, consult with the Ohio Department of Health regarding the repair.
Comments
The pump motor for the activity pool's special play feature had been switched out about 3 weeks ago to power the facility's lap pool. The lap pool motor had failed so the facility made an equipment change to keep this pool in operation. The horse power on the motor was the same as before.
Any time an equipment change like this occurs in the future, notify the Health Department immediately.

At the time of inspection, the pool operator stated the motors will be switched back to match their original approval(s). Once this switch has been made, provide in an email proof that the motors have been switched back as like-for-like.

This email may be sent directly to csuper@miamicountyhealth.net

Also, ensure the facility's weekly pool operations and incident report sheet are being cross-referenced to match the State document (HEA 5219) to ensure all required test parameters are being documented and recorded.
HEA 5219 document given to the PIC at the time of inspection.

Inspection conducted by not only Connor Super, but also Shane Snapp and Linley Locker.
