3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e)
Critical Repeat At the time of reinspection, the automatic chemical controller (ACC) was observed displaying chlorine values in parts per million (ppm). Operator informed inspector that ACC technician will be coming out to fix the unit today (04-06-23) so it reads ORP.
On the ACC, the chlorine value shall be displayed in oxygen reduction potential (ORP). Refigure the ACC to have the chlorine read ORP values.
The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e)/Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
When tested at the time of inspection, the automatic chemical controller (ACC) flow switch was observed not functioning properly.
To ensure the chlorine feeder will discontinue feeding when flow stopped, the ACC flow switch shall function properly and be able to be tested and documented on a monthly basis. Upon making the PIC aware of this, they voluntarily ceased operation of the pool. Have the pool remain closed until the ACC flow switch is able to be tested.
Comments
At time of inspection, automatic chemical controller (ACC) alarm observed functioning after stopping the flow.

A reinspection will occur on or after Tuesday 04-11-23 to ensure the ACC is reading ORP.

Violations removed will be checked during the next standard inspection.
