3701-31-04 (B)(6)/Equipment is maintained per manufacturers specifications. The sand filter was observed in disrepair - sand was observed at the bottom of the pool. For proper function, all equipment shall be maintained in good repair, according to manufacturers specifications. Replace the sand filter.

Comments

- Reinspection was conducted to check the status of the new filter installation. At the time of inspection, a new sand filter (Hayward, Model # S244T) was observed. In the pool, did not observe any sand or other debris. The PIC stated when backwashing, debris no longer comes out. Also, all water quality readings were observed within normal limits. The violation was corrected and is satisfactory. The other violations will be checked during the next standard inspection. - Ensure the water quality readings are checked every day. If not able to check the water quality readings, do not open the pool. Also, ensure an individual is available to be on location within 30 minutes if there are problems with the circulation/disinfection system.,
