3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c)
Critical At the time of inspection, the free chlorine was observed at 0.8 ppm.
To disinfect the spray ground, the free chlorine shall be at or above 2.0 ppm. At the time of inspection, the spray ground was closed. Cease operation until the free chlorine is at or above 2.0 ppm.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e)
Critical Repeat At the time of inspection, the automatic chemical controller ORP was observed reading 735 while the chlorine reading at the spray ground nozzle was observed at 100 ppm.
The ensure the chlorine level is within normal limits, the automatic chemical controller shall be maintained in good repair. Cease operation of the spray ground until the ACC is repaired or replaced.
The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)/pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
The pH was observed above 8.0.
For the chlorine to properly disinfect the pool, the pH shall be between 7.2 and 7.8. Decrease the pH to within normal limits.
Comments
- Reinspection was conducted to check the free chlorine level, the automatic chemical controller and the pH. At the time of inspection, the pH was observed within normal range (7.6). However, the free chlorine was observed at 0.8 ppm with the ORP of the ACC at 735.
