3701-31-04 (E)(3)(a) Corrected During Inspection Repeat While in the use, at the time of inspection, the pool was observed without a lifeguard on duty or a "Warning, No Lifeguard" sign. At the time of inspection, the PIC was found in office and she stated she was the second lifeguard and was in the process of answering emails and completing work. During the inspection, the PIC monitored the main pool while the initial lifeguard monitored the therapy pool. At the end of the inspection, an additional lifeguard was present to relieve the PIC and monitor the main pool.

Comments

- If a lifeguard is not present, then the following signs shall be posted (3701-31-04(E)(3)): 1. "Warning, No Lifeguard" prominently in the public swimming pool area 2. "Swimming Alone is not Recommended" 3. "Children must be Supervised" If a lifeguard is on duty and present during operational hours, the signs above are not necessary and the lifeguard would be required only to monitor this pool. - At the time of inspection, all the safety equipment was present and in good repair and the water quality readings were within normal limits. - Inspection was conducted by not only Jason Dreier but also Carson Richardson.
