3701-31-04 (C)(2)
At the time of inspection, the pH was observed at 7.0
For the chlorine to properly disinfect the pool, the pH shall be between 7.2 and 7.8. Increase the pH of the pool to within normal limits.
3701-31-04 (C)(3)
The alkalinity was observed at 30 ppm.
For the pool to be properly balanced, the alkalinity shall be at least 60 ppm. Increase the alkalinity of the pool.
Comments
- At the time of inspection, the PIC stated the power to the underwater lights had been disconnected. ONCE THE LIGHTS ARE CONNECTED TO A GFCI BREAKER, CONNECT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR INSPECTION. Also, all the main drain and equalizer line covers were observed properly installed. The light cover was also observed properly secured.

- All the safety equipment was present and in good repair. Once the pH is within normal limits the pool is satisfactory to reopen for the season. Both the pH and alkalinity will be rechecked during the next standard inspection.
