Violations: A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(a)
Critical At the time of inspection, it was discovered the outlet covers exceeded their life span (documentation showed a life span of 5 years with installation being completed in May of 2017). Within 30 days, replace the outlet covers with VGB complaint covers.

3701-31-04 (C)(2)
Repeat At the time of inspection, the pH was observed at 7.0. In order for the chlorine to properly disinfect the pool, the pH shall be between 7.2 and 7.8. Increase the pH of the pool.

The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c)/Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
At the time of inspection, the free chlorine was observed at 0.8 ppm. To properly disinfect the pool, the free chlorine shall be at or above 1.0 ppm. At the time of inspection, the pool had yet to be opened for the season. Keep up the pool closed until the free chlorine is at or above 1.0.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e)/Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
At the time of inspection, the automatic chemical controller was observed with an ORP of 830 while the chlorine was observed at 0.8. To ensure the proper chlorine and pH readings, the ACC shall be functioning properly. Prior to opening, ensure the automatic chemical controller is functioning properly.
Comments
- Reinspection was conducted due to report dated 5/27/22. At the time of inspection, the free chlorine was observed at 2.4 while the ORP was observed at 770. The PIC stated the probes were cleaned, new chlorine was provided, and new probes were ordered.

- At the time of inspection, the outlet covers were observed exceeding their life span (see violation). According to the Ohio Administrative Code, Section 31-04(B)(1)(a), the licensee shall not operate a public swimming pool or portion thereof when an imminent health hazard is present, including when a covering for any main drain or other suction outlet is not properly installed, securely fastened, or in compliance with the requirements within ANSI/ASME A112.19.8-2007.
As the pool operator, you are required to:
1. Within 30 days, install VGB complaint main drain covers
2. If unable to install within 30 days due to back order, provide proof of purchase and estimated time of installation

- A reinspection will be conducted on or after 7/1/22 to check the status of the outlet covers.
