Comments
Due to severe storms and tornadoes that affected the area last night, our office came out to discuss food safety procedures and check on temperatures of stored food. Owner explained that they had hooked up the generators last night, unsure if the storms would affect them or not, and that the power did go off last night and did not return on until around 10am this morning. They have the generators in place for events like this, and intend to follow this procedure for future power outages - good. Documentation from ODH concerning power outages and food safety was given to PIC.

All food in freezers were frozen and all TCS foods in coolers were at 41F or below. No signs of temperature abuse or adulteration of food due to all food items being in the safe temperature zone. Continue to monitor the equipment throughout the day to ensure that they are working properly and no damage to the equipment was done from the storms.

Thank you for your time.
