Critical Corrected During Inspection PIC unable to demonstrate knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing. PIC stated dishes are washed in the sink by the coffee. Food equipment and utensils shall be washed, rinsed, and sanitized before each use. Left a three compartment sink setup handout at the time of inspection.

3717-1-02.4(C)(15) / PIC: duties - ensure employees are informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report their health information
Critical Corrected During Inspection Employees are not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health. PIC unable to locate signed copies of employee illness reporting agreements. Left a copy of RPH's employee illness reporting agreement form.

3717-1-06.2(C) / Handwashing sinks - hand drying provision.
No towels or drying device at the handwashing sink(s) in the back. Correct by: 3/20/2020.

3717-1-04.5(A)(1) / Cleanliness of equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils.
Critical Equipment food-contact surfaces or utensils are unclean. Observed a build-up of sticky residue inside of the fountain drink dispenser nozzles. Correct by: 3/20/2020.

3717-1-03.4(H)(1) / Ready-to-eat, time/temperature controlled for safety food - disposition.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Ready-to-eat, TCS food not properly discarded when required. Observed three ham and cheddar wraps in the sandwich cooler with a use by date of 12/13/2019. Observed one turkey and cheddar wrap in the sandwich cooler with a use by date of 12/18/2019. PIC removed wraps from retail sale at the time of inspection.

3717-1-03.4(G) / Ready-to-eat, time/temperature controlled for safety food - date marking.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS foods not properly date marked. Observed boxes of creamer without a date marked. Once opened, refrigerated, ready-to-eat TCS foods shall be marked with the date of opening or date of discard with a maximum of seven days if holding for more than 24 hours. PIC dated creamers at the time of inspection.

3717-1-07.1(A) / Poisonous or toxic materials: Storage: separation.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Improper storage of poisonous or toxic materials. Observed a bottle of isopropyl alchol and hydrogen peroxide stored on a shelf above snach cakes. PIC relocated chemicals to the bottom shelf below food at the time of inspection.

Bulk food for customer self-service not properly labeled. Observed mini candy bars, Fruit Gushers snacks, Kool-Aid drinks, and Dum Dum suckers without a list of ingredients. Correct by: 3/20/2020.

3717-1-04(I) / Nonfood-contact surfaces - materials.
Nonfood-contact surfaces constructed of unapproved materials. Observed cardboard boxes being used to store single-use coffee cups by the handsink. Non-food contact surfaces shall be constructed of materials that are nonabsorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable. Correct by: 3/20/2020.

3717-1-04.5(A)(3) / Cleanliness of nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment.
Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed a build-up of residue on the drink tray holders and on the shelves in the walk-in beer cooler. Correct by: 3/20/2020.

3717-1-06.4(B) / Cleaning - frequency and restrictions.
Facility not maintained clean. Observed dried syrup on the floor under the pop boxes in the back storage area. Correct by: 3/20/2020.

Comments
Discussed inspection with Jalpa. Ceiling areas have been repaired in the storage area and in the retail area. Ceiling vent in the hallway has been repaired. Re-inspection to occur on March 20,2020. Emailed report.
