Corrected During Inspection Handwashing sign(s) not posted. Observed no handwashing signage in either rest-room. PIC had signage posted at time of inspection.

3717-1-05.1(C)(1) / Handwashing sink - required water temperature
Handwashing sink water below 100°F. Observed 89F handwashing water in the mens rest-room. Correct by next standard inspection.

3717-1-03.2(C) / Packaged and unpackaged food - preventing contamination by separation, packaging, and segregation
Critical Corrected During Inspection Food not properly protected from contamination by separation, packaging, and segregation. Observed open package of granulated sugar on top of the microwave. PIC had covered at time of inspection.

3717-1-04.5(C) / Cooking and baking equipment - cleaning frequency
Cooking and/or baking equipment not cleaned when required. Observed interior of microwave to have visible residue. Clean by 8/3/2023.

3717-1-03.4(G) / Ready-to-eat, time/temperature controlled for safety food - date marking.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS foods not properly date marked. Observed orange juice opened days prior to be unlabeled. PIC verified date of opening, and datemarked at time of inspection.

3717-1-07.1(M) / Medicines - restrictions and storage.
Corrected During Inspection Unnecessary medicines and/or improper labeling/storing of medicines. Observed personal medications stored within the same refrigerator as foods for sale, as well as stored above drinks for sale. PIC had relocated at time of inspection.

3717-1-04.2(G)(1) / Food temperature measuring devices - availability
Food thermometer not readily accessible. Observed no thermometer for checking temperatures of cold foods held within the facility. PIC stated plans to order thermometer. Correct by 8/3/2023.

3717-1-04.4(B) / Cutting surfaces.
Cutting blocks or boards cannot be effectively cleaned and sanitized. Observed excessive scoring and staining on bar cutting boards, rendering the surface no longer smooth, durable, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable. Resurface or replace by next standard inspection.

Conducted and reviewed with PIC.
Facility's is doing charcuterie boards on Wednesdays, this activity is not permitted under a risk level 2 licensure. If facility wishes to continue this practice, it will be moved to a risk level 3 next licensing period. Please contact EHSIT about this change in licensure.
