Observation: PIC is aware of the Ohio Administrative Code requirements, and shared the employee health policy with me. He is aware of the visible/known symptoms and/or diagnoses of illness that are required to be addressed per the OAC.

- Good Hygienic Practices
Observation: A break room for employees is available. It is the designated area for employees to eat and drink.

- Preventing Contamination by Hand
Observation: Adequate handwashing facilities are supplied and accessible. There is no bare-hand contact with ready to eat foods.

- Demonstration of Knowledge
Observation: PIC/First Asst. Manager did demonstrate his knowledge by being ServSafe certified in food protection, and he responded to food safety questions regarding McDonald's operations.

- Food from Approved Source
Observation: Foods are obtained from an approved source and received at proper temperature, in good condition, safe & unadulterated.

- Cooling of hot food
Observation: Hot food items are put plastic bags and quick cooled to 41 degree on ice and use of ice wands to quick cool food product..
