Corrected During Inspection In-use utensils are improperly stored. Observed used mashed potato scoop & corn scoop stored on top of hot holding unit. To prevent a food borne illness utensils/scoops shall be stored in product to prevent the growth of pathogens
During pauses in food preparation or dispensing, food preparation and dispensing utensils shall be stored as described in this rule. Correct By: 09-Sep-2014
3717-1-05.1(D) / Backflow prevention - air gap.
Critical Observed the air gap between a plumbing fixture and a piece of equipment that was not sufficient to prevent back siphonage of contaminated water. Drain lines from pop & ice machines are directly connected to sewage drains. To prevent a food borne illness provide an air gap on all lines.
An air gap between the water supply inlet and the flood level rim of the plumbing fixture, equipment, or nonfood equipment shall be at least twice the diameter of the water supply inlet and may not be less than one inch (25 millimeters). Correct By: 15-Sep-2014

Observed the use of equipment that has not been approved. New ice tea units & pop units. New equipment are required to be submitted to local health department for approval and new drawings where in use
Food equipment that is acceptable for use in a FSO or RFE shall be approved as specified under paragraph (KK) of rule 3717-1-04.1 of the Administrative Code.
