Critical Corrected During Inspection Improper washing of hands and arms. Observed a food employee washing hands while wearing disposable gloves. Discussed washing hands before putting on clean gloves.

3717-1-04.1(Y) / Temperature measuring devices.
Hot and cold holding equipment thermometer was missing, located incorrectly, or not easily readable. No thermometer observed inside of the three door retail cooler. Correct by: 11/9/22.

3717-1-03.5(C)(2) / Food labels - packaged food
Label on a food packaged in-house did not contain all required information. Observed the net weight missing on the containers of frozen mincemeat and bags of venison sticks in the cooler. Correct by: 11/9/22.

3717-1-06.1(K) / Insect control devices - design and installation.
Corrected During Inspection Improper use or placement of insect control devices. Observed fly traps hanging above opened packages of straws. PIC moved straws at the time of inspection.

3717-1-06.4(K) / Controlling pests.
Critical Presence of live insects. Observed flies and gnats throughout the facility. Correct by: 11/9/22.

3717-1-06.4(L) / Removing dead or trapped birds, insects, rodents, and other pests.
Presence of dead insects inside the light shields in the kitchen. Correct by: 11/9/22.

3717-1-06.1(M) / Outer openings - protected.
Corrected During Inspection Outer opening not protected. Observed the outside door open in the cider room. PIC closed door to the cider room at the time of inspection.

3717-1-03.2(M) / Wiping cloths - use limitation.
Improper use and/or maintenance of wiping cloths. Observed a sanitizer bucket stored on the floor inside the kitchen. Discussed buckets shall be stored a minimum of six inches above the floor. Correct by: 11/9/22.

3717-1-04.1(H) / Nonfood-contact surfaces - cleanability
Nonfood-contact surfaces not easily cleanable. Observed a plastic film on the outside of the ice machine that was peeling. Correct by: 11/9/22.

3717-1-04.3(B) / Fixed equipment installation - spacing or sealing.
Fixed equipment not properly sealed or spaced for cleaning. Caulking around the hand sink in the kitchen is in disrepair. Correct by next inspection.

Repeat Equipment not approved by a recognized testing agency. Observed a refrigerator/freezer, mini cooler, mixer, chest freezer and crockpots/roasters that were non-commercial grade. When equipment no longer functions properly, replace with commercial grade.
