Critical Corrected During Inspection Handwashing sink is being used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed a pitcher sitting in the back handwashing sink. PIC removed pitcher at the time of inspection.

3717-1-06.2(C) / Handwashing sinks - hand drying provision.
No towels or drying device at the back handwashing sink by the mixer. Correct by: 3/17/23.

3717-1-07.1(A) / Poisonous or toxic materials: Storage: separation.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Improper storage of poisonous or toxic materials. Observed soap stored on a shelf above boxes of distilled water in the storage closet. PIC stated soap and water would be moved today.

Critical Corrected During Inspection Improper storage of poisonous or toxic materials. Observed a spray bottle of hand sanitizer stored on a shelf above the ice cream bowls. PIC moved bottle of sanitizer to the cleaning chemicals storage area at the time of inspection.

Improper method for cooling TCS foods. Observed beef stew in the walk-in that had recently started cooling and was covered with foil in a deep pan. Discussed using shallow pans to cool food quickly and leaving a corner uncovered to allow heat to escape.

3717-1-03.2(Y) / Miscellaneous sources of contamination.
Food not protected from contamination. Observed cell phones on prep tables. Discussed storage of personal items in a designated area away from food prep areas.

3717-1-04.8(E)(1) / Equipment, utensils, linens - storage.
[51] Improper storage of cleaned equipment/utensils. Observed the tongs in the pull out drawer in disarray. Discussed organizing so handles all face the same way. Correct by next inspection.

Repeat [52] Improper storage of single-service and single-use articles. Observed boxes of foam cups stored on the floor in the back of the kitchen. Correct by: 3/17/23.

Equipment components are not intact, tight or properly adjusted. Observed a torn gasket on the True refrigerator. PIC stated gaskets have been ordered. Correct by next inspection.

Equipment not approved by a recognized testing agency. Observed a non-commercial Home Craft tea maker. PIC stated facility plans to replace with commercial grade.

Equipment components are not intact, tight or properly adjusted. Observed a torn gasket on the reach-in freezer next to the fryers. PIC stated gaskets have been ordered. Correct by next inspection.

Irreversible registering temperature indicator not readily accessible for hot water mechanical warewashing operations. Correct by next inspection.

3717-1-04.5(A)(3) / Cleanliness of nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment.
Repeat Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed a build-up of ice inside of the ice cream freezer. Correct by next inspection.

Repeat Facility not maintained clean. Observed residue on the wall behind the drink dispenser. Correct by: 3/17/23.
