Critical Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS foods held refrigerated for more than 24 hours were not properly date marked. Opened cheeses to be sliced not date marked after opening (Some Hard and semi soft cheeses are present and are exempt.)
To prevent foodborne illness, refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS food held at a temperature of 41°F or less for more than 24 hours shall be clearly marked at the time the original container is opened to indicate the date or day, that is a maximum of seven days, by which the food shall be consumed, sold, or discarded. Food products are not honestly presented. Eggs were in reused cartons without new label information.
Food shall be offered for human consumption that does not mislead or misinform the consumer. If eggs are to be obtained from a farm market for retail sale, the farm must be registered and inspected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) and have their label reviewed by ODA. The label must include statements specified by 925.021 of the Ohio Revised Code. Correct By: 15-Jun-2015
