Single-service and single-use articles not protected from contamination. Observed single use spoons stored in a container near drive through to have handles and lip contact portion of utensil going in multiple directions. To ensure lip contact portion is protected from possible contamination, store so handles are all going in the same direction. -Correct today.

3717-1-04.4(A)(2) / Equipment components kept intact, tight, and adjusted
Repeat Equipment components are not intact, tight or properly adjusted. Observed door seal on stand up reach in freezer in back storage room to be broken/torn. Repair or replace seal on door. -Correct by next standard inspection.

Repeat Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed underside of plastic housing on all Pepsi fountain machines in need of greater cleaning. PIC states facility has a cleaning rotation for those parts, however, discussed increasing the frequency. -Correct by 10/4/23.

Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed interior surfaces of cabinet below fountain beverage machine located at servers area closest to drive through to be in need of greater cleaning. Thoroughly clean inside cabinet. -Correct today.

Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed visible residues on interior surfaces of small beverage air cooler below front counter. Observed cooler currently not in use and discussed ensuring equipment is maintained in a clean state even when not in use. Thoroughly clean interior surfaces of cooler. -Correct by 10/4/23.

Inspection conducted and reviewed with manager/PIC. Risk level 4 activities include cook, cool, & reheat of pasta and occasionally chili. Inspection report emailed.
