Critical Corrected During Inspection Unapproved animals on premises. Observed cat in the retail portion of the facility. PIC had cat removed from facility at time of inspection.

3717-1-04.1(KK) / Food equipment - certification and classification.
Equipment not approved by a recognized testing agency. Observed a refrigerator/freezer, mini cooler, mixer, chest freezer and crockpots/roasters that were non-commercial grade. When equipment no longer functions properly, replace with commercial grade.

3717-1-04.1(Y)/Temperature measuring devices.
Hot and cold holding equipment thermometer was missing, located incorrectly, or not easily readable. No thermometer observed inside of the three door retail cooler. Correct by: 11/9/22.
3717-1-03.5(C)(2)/Food labels - packaged food
Label on a food packaged in-house did not contain all required information. Observed the net weight missing on the containers of frozen mincemeat and bags of venison sticks in the cooler. Correct by: 11/9/22.

Presence of live insects. Observed flies and gnats throughout the facility. Correct by: 11/9/22.

Presence of dead insects inside the light shields in the kitchen. Correct by: 11/9/22.

Improper use and/or maintenance of wiping cloths. Observed a sanitizer bucket stored on the floor inside the kitchen. Discussed buckets shall be stored a minimum of six inches above the floor. Correct by: 11/9/22.

Nonfood-contact surfaces not easily cleanable. Observed a plastic film on the outside of the ice machine that was peeling. Correct by: 11/9/22.

Fixed equipment not properly sealed or spaced for cleaning. Caulking around the hand sink in the kitchen is in disrepair. Correct by next inspection.

Comments
Conducted and reviewed inspection with Jackson (PIC) and Jade Sweitzer (EHSIT). Discussed the need to move the duck eggs that are for personal use from retail cider cooler. Also discussed not allowing animals (excluding service animals and patrol dogs accompanied by handler) into the food service portion, as well as, the retail portion and storage areas of the facility.
