If facility has three consecutive violations, the facility will undergo a file review with Environmental Health Specialist and Environmental Health Program Director. The Director and Specialist will review inspection reports, discuss violations and determine if facility needs an action plan. On next standard inspection if facility does not have complete weekly pool operation reports, facility maybe subject to action plan determined by Environmental Health Director. Ensure that these are included in the report:
Record retention: at least 2 years
~Disinfectant residuals (FC at least 1 ppm): tested daily prior to bathers entering pool and every 4 hours when pool is in use (every 12 hours if ACC)
~Combined chlorine (less than 1ppm): tested daily prior to bathers and every 4 hours
~pH (7.2-7.8): tested daily prior to bathers and every 4 hours
~Water temp (pool <90, spa<104): tested once per day
~Water clarity: assessed continuously while the pool is in use (record issues as they occur)
~Total alkalinity (>60 ppm): tested once per week
~Cyanuric acid (<70 ppm): tested once per week (if applicable)
~Total dissolved solids: recorded when a water clarity issue occurs
~Injuries, fecal accidents and any chemical addition other than used for routine disinfection: recorded as they happen
