The facilities were not maintained in a safe, clean & sanitary, and in good repair. At time of inspection observed cracks on pool deck by skimmer boxes and damaged perimeter drain covers.
Ensure these areas are repaired to prevent injuries and maintain facility at all times.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the combined chlorine must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii) / pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Repeat pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Required turnover rates were not met. At time of inspection due to meter not functioning turnover rate was unable to be determined.
Replace flow meter when able to determine flow on system.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h) / Required meters and gauges maintained/functional
Required meters and gauges were not maintained or were not functional while the pool is in operation. At time of inspection the flow meter was not operational. PIC stated meter was going to be changed out that it recently broke.
Maintain all meters and gauges in a properly functioning manner at all times while the pool is in operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(k) / Outlet drain covers are secure/meet ANSI/ASME A112.19.8-2007 requirements.
Critical At time of inspection no VGB certification/ANSI A112 was observed. In December 2007 the United States Congress passed the Virginia Graeme Baker (VGB) Pool & Spa Safety Act, which requires that all swimming pool or spa drain covers manufactured, distributed or entered into commerce in the United States conform to the entrapment protection standards of the ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 performance standard, or any successor standard regulating such swimming pool or spa drain covers. As noted in the Pool & Spa Safety Act, the ASME/ANSI A112.19.8-2007 standard establishes minimum standards for construction, configuration and testing to ensure that a pool or spa main drain does not pose a suction entrapment hazard.
Ensure proper paperwork is kept on file and available. If certifications can't be located replace covers ASAP.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(s) / Perimeter barrier is in good repair to prevent unauthorized entry
Corrected During Inspection At time of inspection of French door in far corner by hand sanitizing station was left unlocked. This can allow unauthorized access to pool. PIC corrected during inspection.
Keep these doors locked at all times.

A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. At time of inspection safety line was measure to be 29 ft long due to extra knotted handle. Ensure rope is between 30-60 foot at all times.
Provide a proper floatation device with required length of rope at all times.
