3701-31-04 (B)(6)(p) / Deck surfaces are free of standing water or other hazards.
Deck surfaces had standing water or other hazards. Observe cracks in the deck at the time of inspection.
Repair areas of the deck where standing water is occuring. If more than 50% of the deck must be replaced, plans must be submitted to the Ohio Department of Health for review and approval PIC will fill in cracks with cement for temporary solution. Long term deck will be replaced in different phases for long term goal.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(b)(i) / 12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole with Sheppard's crook & a USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 - 60 foot throw line.
Corrected During Inspection 12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole with Shepherd's crook and/or a USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 - 60 foot throw line was not provided at the guarded pool. PIC made handle longer to 12 ft for shepherd's hook.
Provide the non-telescopic reach pole and personal floatation device at the pool at all times.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) / Working emergency telephone/call box provided.
Observed emergency device (telephone) was not working at the time of inspection.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(c) / Location of emergency telephone posted when the phone is not visible.
Sign indicating the location of the emergency device (telephone) was not provided and emergency device was not visible in the pool area.
Ensure that a sign informing patrons of the location of the emergency device is always visible in the pool area.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Observed pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm at the time of inspection.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above. PIC poured 12 pounds of granules of chlorine in the pool, waited to test pool after 2 hours. Free chlorine above 1ppm.
