Maintain all records and have them available upon request. Operator was given a log sheet to maintain records at the time of inspection. Operator givin Administrative code/Ohio Laws pertaining to record keeping for swimming pool/spa.
Free Chlorine-taken before opening and every 4 hours
Combined Chlorine- before opening and every 4 hours
Total Chlorine- before opening and every 4 hours
pH- daily every 4 hours
Temperature- once daily
Total Alkalinity- once per week
Cyanuric Acid - once a week (only if apply to your pool/spa) if not ignore.
Water clarity- daily ( making sure operator can see the drains clearly at the bottom of the pool)

A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. Observed cotton rope and the rope less than thirty feet on the flotation device at the time of inspection.
Provide a proper floatation device at all times. Ensure that the rope is made of nylon and at least thirty feet.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) / Working emergency telephone/call box provided.
Emergency device (telephone) was not working at the time of inspection.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities. Also make sure if the phone is not working in the pool area put a sign up to use the front desk telephone.

Also make sure keeping records for at least 2 years and keeping a Daily Pool/Spa Chemical log. Inspection report hand delivered to facility. |
