Violations: A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i)
Repeat Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. Only being tested once a week.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Repeat Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use. Testing is currently only taking place once a week.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the combined chlorine must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Repeat pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. pH is only being tested once a week by pool professional.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Repeat Water temperatures were not being recorded daily. Pool specialist coming in once a week to test temperatures and record but according to records, nothing had been recorded since 5/26/2022 (six days before inspection).
Take and record the water temperature at least once/day.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h)
Repeat Required meters and gauges were not maintained or were not functional while the pool is in operation. Flow meter was present but not reading a flow during time of inspection. The guage is not appropriate and needs to read at a lower flow rate to be able to read the flow rate output for that specific pump unit.
Maintain all meters and gauges in a properly funtioning manner at all times while the pool is in operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(i)
Repeat A means of determining rate-of-flow was not found for all water pumps. Flow reader was not at proper scale for system.
Properly install a flow meter or have a pump curve available for every water pump used for the pool.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(s)
Corrected During Inspection Repeat Automatic lock was not working at time of inspection. Discussed alternative locking measures and locking the exterior door to prevent unauthorized entry.

3701-31-04 (E)(3)(c)
Repeat Sign indicating the location of the emergency device (telephone) was not provided and emergency device was not visible in the pool area. There must be a sign at red telephone in pool area that it rings to the front desk (actual emergency phone) location and not directly to emergency services.
Ensure that a sign informing patrons of the location of the emergency device is always visible in the pool area.
