Staff was not trained or knowledgeable in pool operations.
Train staff in pool operations, operation of equipment, chemical storage, use and handling and appropriate emergency procedures.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vi)
Total alkalinity was not tested weekly.
Test total alkalinity at least once/week.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vii)
Cyanuric acid was not tested weekly.
Test for cyanuric acid level at least once/week.
The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 ( D )(6)(a)/ORP reading shall be 650 millivolts or greater.
ORP reading was below 650 mv at 645 mv
Have the ACC unit inspected to determined why the ORP is low.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(g)/Water clarity shall be sufficient to see the pool bottom (or Secchi disc).
Water clarity was not sufficient to see the pool bottom (or Secchi disc). The licensee shall not operate a public swimming pool or portion thereof when an imminent health hazard is present.
Do not operate the pool when water clarity is poor.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)/pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. pH was measured at 8.0 ppm.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(5)/Deepest point of the public swimming pool is readily visible from the deck
Water clarity was so poor that the deepest portion of the pool was not clearly visible.
Do not operate the pool when water clarity is poor. Improve the water clarity so that the bottom of the pool is clearly visible at all times.
Comments
Follow-up inspection was conducted on 8/11/2021 to ensure the water clarity was back to normal and to ensure daily water testing numbers were within a normal range.

Cyanuric acid was measured at < 30 ppm.

Water clarity issue was resolved at the time of the follow-up inspection.
