Repeat Staff was not trained or knowledgeable in pool operations.
Train staff in pool operations, operation of equipment, chemical storage, use and handling and appropriate emergency procedures.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii)
Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use. Facility has not been testing the combined chlorine for an extended period of time.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the combined chlorine must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Critical The pool was not being continuously disinfected using a chemical feeding device connected to the circulation system
Repair or replace the disinfection system so that the pool is continuously being disinfected.

FAS-DPD test kit was not used when required. Current test kit cannot measure combined chlorine.
Obtain a FAS-DPD test kit immediately.
Comments
Pressure gauge on top of the filter was not working at the time of inspection.

Ensure your combined chlorine is being tested daily. Facility must order a test kit that has the ability to test for the combined chlorine.

ACC was turned off at the time of inspection; PIC stated he has had it turned off for some time due to suspected issues with the unit. Discussed ensuring the ACC is always functioning properly with the PIC.
