The Jefferson County Environmental Public Health Consortium is a collaborative partnership between the Watertown Health Department and Jefferson County Health Department to ensure public health through education and regulation. Areas of environmental health include:

  • Wisconsin Department of Health Services Inspection Program (restaurants, lodging, campgrounds, tattoo/body piercing, and recreational waters)
  • Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Retail Food Program (grocery stores, convenience stores, bakeries, etc.)
  • Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Transient Non-Community Drinking Water Program
  • Nuisance Complaints/Human Health Hazards
  • Radon Information Center for Watertown, Dodge and Jefferson Counties
  • Lead Inspections and follow up
